Program Description

The Dallas Metropolitan Consortium in Psychology (DMCP) Pre-doctoral Internship in Professional Psychology is an integrated training program comprised of The University of Texas At Dallas Student Counseling Center and Southern Methodist University Counseling and Psychiatric Services. Congruent with the missions of the supporting Consortium agencies, the primary emphasis of the internship is on providing graduate students with rich and varied professional training experiences to assist them through this critical transition period in their growth and development into professional psychologists qualified with requisite knowledge and skills for the practice of psychology in a university counseling setting or other employment setting.
