Janet H. Collins

Janet has been an academic advisor in the School of Interdisciplinary Studies since the summer of 2002.  She has "hands-on" experience in Interdisciplinary Studies, having earned her B.A. in IS in the Spring of 2001.   Her personal philosophy is that if a student is interested in a particular subject (for example, psychology) that they will earn better grades.  Janet tries to work with each individual student to design a degree plan that hopefully reflects that student's interest and guides them towards their academic and personal goals.
