DINING HALL
The new 28,000-square-foot dining hall — expected to be completed in summer 2009 — will have space for students, faculty and staff to mingle, relax and dine.
Convenience and Choice
The dining facility will be open seven days a week. Freshmen who live on campus will be required to purchase a meal plan; meal plans will also be available for purchase by other students, faculty and staff. In addition to the meal plans, patrons will be able to purchase individual meals as well.
The main dining space will provide seating for more than 400 patrons. In addition, a separate dining area will accommodate up to 120 faculty and staff patrons.
The dining hall will accept UTDollars, an optional spending plan available for student use with their Comet Card.
New Residence Hall Expected to Open with Dining Hall
The dining hall is expected to be ready to accommodate residents of the 400-bed, 148,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art residence hall, scheduled to begin housing students by fall 2009.
