Requirements for an appointment

• An appointment is necessary for any and all services.
• The UTD Comet Card is required for services at the Health Center.
  • Students arriving late for their appointment or without their Comet Card will be rescheduled and it may not be the same day. 
  • Your tuition and fees must be paid prior to being seen at the Health Center.
• Walk-ins with urgent health needs (as determined by the Nurse Practitioner) will be seen.

Cancellation of an appointment

• If you are unable to keep your appointment, you must call one hour prior to your appointment to cancel or reschedule or you will be charged a $5  "no show fee." 
  • A hold will be placed on the student's record until the fee is paid.
• Tardiness for an appointment will result in the rescheduling of your appointment and it may not be the same day. We have no grace period for appointments.

Parking at the Health Center

1. We are located in the Student Union on the campus map (SU).  Lot J (permit parking) is located near the Activity Center.

2. Lot K is located directly behind the Student Union. Students have to pay the meter to park. There is one Health Center parking space.

3. The Health Center does not validate parking at the meters.
