If you plan to take your FY 2009 salary over 12 months, the Internal Revenue Service has changed the rules governing salary deferments. By August 8 you will receive more information and instructions about your FY 2009 salary payment election. You must make your election by August 25. You may email any questions to payroll@utdallas.edu.

Please join me in expressing your appreciation to Claire Occhipinti, who will be retiring from UT Dallas on August 31. Claire started in HR more than 18 years ago, and worked her way up from clerk to Assistant Director. No one knows more about HR at UT Dallas, or cares more for the faculty and staff, than Claire. Business Affairs hosted a reception for Claire last Friday. Thanks to all who stopped by.
