Architecture and Back Office Group

The Back Office Group is a division of UTD's Information Resources Architecture and Infrastructure Services - Server Administration department. We are responsible for the Windows 2003 Active Directory account management, network drives (G:, H:, P:, etc.), and Exchange E-Mail services. We manage and maintain the CAMPUS Active Directory domain. We provide security patch management via Microsoft Windows Server Update Services, Microsoft System Management Server, virus protection via McAfee ViruScan and server backups.
