SSH allows a secure connection to remote servers and provides you with a command line interface at that server. These are the instructions on how to establish an SSH connection with the Apache server:

1. Launch an SSH client such as Putty. Putty is available for download here.
   
   
2. Type apache.utdallas.edu into the Host Name field and select the SSH circle below. Click Yes at the following notice window.
   
   
   
   
3. Enter your NetID and password when prompted.
