Applications Required for 2009 DART Transit Passes, Nov 24
Applications will be accepted starting Monday, Nov. 24, for DART Transit Passes good for 2009. Go to https://www.utdallas.edu/dart/register.php5 to renew or submit a new application. Continue to use your 2008 pass through the end of the year. The 2009 passes will not be accepted for DART bus or rail service until Jan. 1. Remember to wait five to seven business days before picking up your pass at the Comet Center (the Comet Center is closed on University holidays).
University to Begin Annual Fire Alarm Testing, Nov 17
The Office of Environmental Health and Safety will begin annual fire alarm and sprinkler system inspections on Monday, Nov. 17. The inspections will start with equipment tests and building walkthroughs. The tests' latter stages - which will require sounding individual building alarms to verify that they are audible throughout the premises - will not begin until after the last day of fall final exams, Dec. 17. Nov 4 Degree-seeking students can register online using the Student Information System.
