Equipment Checkout

• Equipment can be checked out from the Control Desk with a valid membership card.
• Patrons will be charged for lost, stolen or damaged equipment.

Reservations

Court Reservations

  • Maximum of one day in advance.
  • Minimum of one hour in advance if a court is not in use.
  • One hour only - begins on the hour.
  • Reserve at the Control Desk or by calling 972-883-2090.
  • Reservations are held for 10 minutes only.

Facility Use Agreement

Reservation Request Form
  • Facility space for each event must be requested by submittal of a Recreational Sports Facility Reservation Request.
  • Requests for facility use should be submitted at least 10 business days prior to the event.
  • The user group must return a signed copy of the Letter of Confirmation.
  • If a facility rental fee is required, a non-refundable deposit of 10% may be required. If applicable, the deposit must be returned with the signed copy of the Letter of Confirmation. Any payment required is due in full prior to the event, unless prior arrangements have been made with the Reservationist.
  • All user groups are required to maintain public liability and property damage. Minimum amounts apply and proof of insurance is due before the event.
  • All members of the user group(s) are required to follow all rules and regulations of UTD during their usage of UTD facilities.
  • User groups are responsible for the actions of all members of the group and will be responsible to make restitution for any damages to UTD property.
  • UTD cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen property or injuries sustained while participating.
  • All events must comply with the Facility Use Agreement. A complete copy of the agreement is available online or upon request.

Memberships & Fees

Membership Payroll Deduction

Faculty and Staff can elect to have their Activity Center Membership deducted from their paycheck. Sign-ups for payroll deduction are available August 1st through August 31st for Annual Memberships only. Please download the Annual Payroll Deduction Form and the Membership Application and bring it with you to the Activity Center.

Family Membership

UTD students, faculty, staff and alumni members may sponser one spouse, domestic partner or a child 17 years of age or older residing in the same household. Proof along with a picture ID must be shown at the Control Desk to obtain a membership.

General Policies

  • The Activity Center is a place for enjoyment for the University community; therefore, appropriate behavior is required.
  • Users whose behavior creates unsafe, hostile or otherwise disruptive conditions will be asked to leave.
  • Instructions from facility staff must be followed.
  • Facility and Natatorium hours are subject to change.

Child Usage Policy

  • Children under the age of 17 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Violators will be asked to leave.
  • No children under the age of 17 are allowed in the Fitness Center.
