Two officers of an organization must attend a mandatory orientation session to complete their requirements to register their student organization.

The orientation is designed to familiarize the officers with funding procedures, event planning and room reservations, fundraising procedures, university policies, advertising and visual identity policies, and university resources. The Student Organization Forum Officers conduct the orientation and there are multiple sessions that are offered each semester. An attendance sheet is available at the end of each meeting to obtain the signatures of those present.
